Why is this week different?

Posted on August 29, 2026 by NotSoNormal

Emotions are weird. Strong highs and lows that are different. Trying to understand where I should stand. I think my year plan is good. Improve in all the ways I have learnt over the past week and a half; stop wearing baggy clothes buy fitted clothes, cleaning and showering more is good keep doing it, get into a routine hopefully. I did think about painting the bedroom and buying a new bed frame. So many roads, remember even if you take a turn God straightens the path ahead. I’m tired and ache but isn’t everyone? I would like more energy. I want more accountability. There’s a spiritual war going on over health systems and the court system. It’s a sad world but God is in control and has prepared us. People may ask where he is and I’m just like if this isn’t all proof that he choose to send his son to save is from all of that evil that I’m glad I know Jesus and everyone needs him. The world has tried to paint villains as just broken but no villains are evil. Evil exists but God is bigger and will get rid of all evil one day. We fail every day as humans to get rid of evil, we are the same race as the people who killed Jesus. But even that couldn’t defeat God because Jesus came back and he promised us he’d be back again. Now we wait on the mighty and just and true, our everything. All some people want is to sit with people and just listen to stories

Procrasination Friday

Posted on August 28, 2026 by NotSoNormal

Four hundred million people have this image on their phone, a mug, or a T-shirt. Almost none have noticed what’s wrong with Adam’s hand.

Look at the two arms.

God is horizontal, launched forward. Every tendon in His arm is stretched to the limit, His hair and cloak swept back by His speed. Angels strain under His weight because He is the one moving. He has crossed the entire sky to reach this moment. His finger is extended as far as a finger can go.

Now, Adam.

Draped on a hillside, propped on one elbow, leaning back. His arm isn’t reaching; it rests on his own knee. His wrist is slack. His finger droops.

The Creator of the universe strains like a man reaching for someone falling off a cliff—and the man can’t be bothered to straighten a single finger.

Michelangelo painted that on purpose. He painted it in agony, spending four years on scaffolding beneath that ceiling, his head bent back, paint dripping into his beard. He hated it enough to write a poem complaining his spine had bent like a bow and he could no longer read a letter without holding it above his head.

Four years of that, to say one thing:

You did not climb to God. God dove to you.

Every religion on earth is a ladder: purify yourself, discipline yourself, ascend. Michelangelo painted the opposite on the ceiling of the most important church in the world: man reclining, barely participating, and God closing the distance at full speed.

Genesis 2:7: “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

God breathed. Adam received. That’s the whole transaction. Adam contributed the dust.

Now look under God’s left arm.

There’s a woman tucked against His side. His arm wraps around her. She isn’t watching the miracle; she’s looking past God’s shoulder, straight at Adam.

The oldest reading says that’s Eve—not yet created, not yet formed, but already held, already watching the man she will be given to, from inside God’s embrace, because she existed in His mind before she existed in the world.

Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.”

Ephesians 1:4: “He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world.”

You were in that mantle once—long before your parents met, before anything.

And about that mantle: in 1990, a physician named Frank Meshberger studied the fresco and published a discovery that stunned art historians. Trace the outline of the crimson cloak, the angels, the swirling mass around God.

It matches a cross-section of the human brain—the fissures, the lobes, the stem.

Michelangelo dissected corpses. He knew human anatomy better than most surgeons of his century. Whether he hid it there deliberately remains debated, but if he did, the message is profound: God isn’t just handing Adam a heartbeat. He’s giving him a mind—the image of God, the capacity to know his Maker.

God has crossed the sky, arm fully extended, nothing left to give. He has closed all the distance He can.

And the fingers don’t touch.

Michelangelo froze them apart forever—a half-inch of empty plaster carrying more weight than the rest of the ceiling combined.

Because look whose finger still has slack in it.

Not God’s.

Adam’s.

Adam could close that gap by straightening one knuckle. One. The remaining distance is his—the smallest movement in the painting, and the only one God will not make for him.

That half-inch is free will.

God will cross a universe. He will not cross your consent.

But here’s what the ceiling can’t show you, because it happened fifteen centuries after Genesis and Michelangelo painted the before.

The touch happens.

God’s hand and human flesh finally meet—not above the clouds, but in Bethlehem, when the hand that flung the stars became a hand small enough to hold Mary’s finger. God stopped reaching across the gap and stepped into it. Took a body. Took a hand.

And when that hand was finally stretched out as far as human arms go, extended like the arm on the ceiling, full reach, nothing held back—

We nailed it there.

That’s where the two fingers meet.

At the cross.

God at full stretch and man at his worst, finally touching through an iron spike.

And three days later that hand was moving again. Folding grave clothes. Cooking breakfast. Offering its scars to a doubter.

It’s still extended.

The ceiling is still true.

He has done all the reaching, crossed all the sky, closed all the distance that love can close without your permission.

The last half-inch has always been yours.

Lift your hand.

Why you need to go to Church

Posted on August 22, 2026 by Bae

I think that’s the t-shirt. ‘go to Church’ but I do want something that rhymes and for it to be used as an ignition point to talk about Jesus or something connected to that. At least this is my 2nd favourite t-shirt and Layla wanted a pickle, I bought her the biggest pickle ever because pickle’s lives matter Andrew. I’ve understood something really important, some people listen to everything because their brain is always learning. Anyway I’m really tired and today was a fail for eating. People are making a huge deal over Lindsey C case. To me it isn’t that simple and I don’t know why. But I’m proof you can do anything. I am now being kept awake by thoughts of me being responsible for someone else’s death in a car and how do you escape from a car?

Also I made this to show Angie because of the really long story of me talking to someone about making a tshirt she could wear and that lead to Josh asking me if Angie is homophobic and I laughed and said no, she wants to give me driving lessons, I was also talking about God which caused two females in their 20s to grab each others hand and I laughed in my head so hard thinking they don’t get it. So now I’m praying for those two women who were walking into town from the station. Then on the walk back Josh tells me he’s trans, in my head I’m like yeah this is the moment I’m prepared for this, I simply say I know. I’m praying in my head don’t ask me to call you anything else because I love you for you. He just said oh yeah. Jesus was over this conversation like you wouldn’t believe! He complains to me his mum won’t call him a she. I said why do you want your mums validation so bad? He said I don’t know actually. DING DING DING. I told him oh I wear mens jeans I don’t care what clothes you buy I will take you shopping but you need to clean your room. His response is I know. He’s becoming so grown up and Layla is and it’s scary. I miss the old navy tshirt. The one piece of clothing I regret throwing out is that damn tshirt. I don’t know if this is a sign to contact K. I really need whatsapp back I miss Imran and he’s had a daughter and I’m sad I can’t message him about it. Also isnt it really weird that Josh thinks he’s trans masc and he has a friend from South Africa who is trans fems. So they are basically straight lmao. Beth is slowly learning her left from her right, check out the shoes and the rock literally on her face

Tshirt list: I’m her TRI-angle

I’m positive evidence for JESUS

Is the door still open? (Because Jesus wasn’t born because of walls or condoms)

Great men go left because women are always right

Ignite the elecTRIcian

I PRAY because my friend used to be very gay

I’m her favoUrite RIGHT

good people

Never forget there must still be good men to counteract what I’ve seen. Because when there is reaction there can be gratification for the wrong the thing. Gratify your soul for Jesus. I can’t believe people are doing it last night with horror make up. What is there to celebrate? They adjusted his photo and that is sick. I don’t want his kids to see this stuff one day

The things that make me laugh and happy. Its the nonsensical v(5) the four (the stories make me feel so peaceful for NO REASON!!!). I despise everything that is fake through a screen, the system is corrupt but i can’t stop it. People profit off other people’s pain or they do it for the clicks and views. I don’t want anyone to be in pain, I don’t want to see familys in pain and arguing. But hearing how much they care changes the chess board

initiation has to start, perfection only exists because of Jesus, I’m not sure how safe that sounds its all the pre before, the fear will come back to trap me and its scary but that’s not the free way or free world. Do you think evil eats itself? A circle can only go one way

Green flags

This is for Jean. It’s called Jumping for joy. It needs some work and a great video.

Jumping for joy, we lift His name on high, Yahweh, Jesus, the Great Shepherd by our side! At the bridge project His mercy flows so free, He finds us in the dark and sets the captives free! Jumping for joy—hallelujah, praise His name!

**Verse 1** Daniel rode his bike through dust and desperate need, Foam strapped behind, just praying for a feed;

Jesus met him there with dignity restored, A sewing machine of hope—his business now soared.

Washington arrived with hunger, sores, and fear, TB and eviction left him near the end; Prayer and food from Bridge, then healing from the Lord, A room, a job, a future—Yahweh’s open door.

Advance wept alone, his mother gone too soon, Blind grandma, baby brothers, empty afternoon;

The Bridge gave funeral help and bread to share, Jesus, the Great Shepherd, answered every prayer.

**Verse 2** Angel lay abandoned in a plastic bag one day, Tiny newborn crying where the taxis stay; Nurses held her close while Bridge brought formula near, Jesus whispered, “I am with you—do not fear.”

Chipo fled the beatings, streets became her bed, Hungry, lost, and broken—nowhere left to tread;

Thuthuka opened doors, school fees and a home, Now she dreams of flying—God’s love has made her known.

Prison walls once echoed with the women’s silent cries, No soap, no pads, just torn-up cloth and sighs; Hygiene packs arrived, smiles broke across each face, Yahweh through the Bridge poured out amazing grace

**Verse 3** In Chinhoyi’s open gate the desperate still arrive, Hungry, hopeless, broken—yet somehow they survive; Jesus walks among them through the hands that give and pray, Turning darkest nights into a brand-new day. Street kids once forgotten now have food and books and light, From Thuthuka’s shelter they rise up in His might; Prisoners who had nothing now feel dignity return, The Great Shepherd gathers every soul that yearns. Whatever name they carry—Daniel, Chipo, or more— In their lowest moment they found Jesus at the door; The Bridge Project keeps shining, hope forever new, Yahweh’s love is faithful, and His promises are True

Favourite time with my favourite slime

I’ll never fully get over the persistent demand to turn the TV to the left, no matter how many times it happens. Today’s song of the day is the classic Billie Jean, absolutely perfect 👌, and it comes with an interesting history tied to the phrase “let it go.” Domin-oh-hoo-hoo, bringing a little extra fun and rhythm to the mix!

218 days, nothing less, everything more and maybe ratatouille
