Jumping for joy, we lift His name on high, Yahweh, Jesus, the Great Shepherd by our side! At the bridge project His mercy flows so free, He finds us in the dark and sets the captives free! Jumping for joy—hallelujah, praise His name!
**Verse 1** Daniel rode his bike through dust and desperate need, Foam strapped behind, just praying for a feed;
Jesus met him there with dignity restored, A sewing machine of hope—his business now soared.
Washington arrived with hunger, sores, and fear, TB and eviction left him near the end; Prayer and food from Bridge, then healing from the Lord, A room, a job, a future—Yahweh’s open door.
Advance wept alone, his mother gone too soon, Blind grandma, baby brothers, empty afternoon;
The Bridge gave funeral help and bread to share, Jesus, the Great Shepherd, answered every prayer.
**Verse 2** Angel lay abandoned in a plastic bag one day, Tiny newborn crying where the taxis stay; Nurses held her close while Bridge brought formula near, Jesus whispered, “I am with you—do not fear.”
Chipo fled the beatings, streets became her bed, Hungry, lost, and broken—nowhere left to tread;
Thuthuka opened doors, school fees and a home, Now she dreams of flying—God’s love has made her known.
Prison walls once echoed with the women’s silent cries, No soap, no pads, just torn-up cloth and sighs; Hygiene packs arrived, smiles broke across each face, Yahweh through the Bridge poured out amazing grace
**Verse 3** In Chinhoyi’s open gate the desperate still arrive, Hungry, hopeless, broken—yet somehow they survive; Jesus walks among them through the hands that give and pray, Turning darkest nights into a brand-new day. Street kids once forgotten now have food and books and light, From Thuthuka’s shelter they rise up in His might; Prisoners who had nothing now feel dignity return, The Great Shepherd gathers every soul that yearns. Whatever name they carry—Daniel, Chipo, or more— In their lowest moment they found Jesus at the door; The Bridge Project keeps shining, hope forever new, Yahweh’s love is faithful, and His promises are True
